MESH
In the last couple of years more and more young label promotors and DJ's from all over the world discover the Swiss experimental electronic music from the late 70's to the early 80's.
Most of these releases are first time out on vinyl in a limited edition for a short time. We from Klang und Kleid carry as the only source in Switzerland all of those releases as long in stock.
MESH started around 1982 in Geneva. It was a two member band with a drum machine jumping from sordid, slow and dark numbers to two minutes almost punk ones, they self-produced in 1986 "claustrophobia" a rare and impossible to find LP with superb synthpop and darkwave gemms, now re-edited and re-mastered in this double album including the unreleased material from the Onkalo sessions from 1987-1988
by the spanish label
Atemporal in 2015.
The cover art and insert is designed by Gilles Forestier who was one of the original members of MESH and still works today as a photografer.
By the way, nobody in switzerland knew up to today about this release, not even us! Limited edition, 265 copies only!
